🩹 Intai Recovery

Before learning solves, it is advised to learn the recovery route first. You will always be able to build one of these two build minimals:

Build%Build
Minimals
100.00%2*

* Technically you only need the first build minimal. However, optimal placement for some early pieces are covered by the second build minimal.

From here you can always recover into Simple No O 6th with 2 minimals:

Minimals
100.00%2

Solve

Intai Cannon 6L is a 6L opener setup. That means, just like 5th PC, its bag structure ends with 1 piece from the next bag.
Therefore, in order to start looking for a solve, you need to place at least 1 piece in order to reveal the final piece(s) used in the PC.
That is the 8th piece of the loop, referred to as P8, revealing the 15th piece of the loop, P15.
Sometimes there is no solution after placing 1 piece and you need to place another, placing P9 reveals P16.

Vast majority of relevant solves involves building one of the cores shared with the two recovery minimals - IJS core or LSZ core.

Regular solves

These solves lead to non-dupe 6th and can often (but not always) be built from 8p.

IJS core Piece 15 = T Piece 15 = I Piece 15 = J Piece 15 = L Piece 15 = O Piece 15 = S Piece 15 = Z

LSZ core Piece 15 = T Piece 15 = I Piece 15 = J Piece 15 = L Piece 15 = O Piece 15 = S Piece 15 = Z
-
other cores Piece 15 = T Piece 15 = I Piece 15 = J Piece 15 = L Piece 15 = O Piece 15 = S Piece 15 = Z
- -
- - - - -

Most of the time you will be able to immediately build one of these after placing P8 and revealing P15.

Sometimes you need to use this funny spin sequence involving 180 (doesn't work on high gravity unless you bind two rotations to one key):

intai-funny-180.gif
Fig: Intai funny spin.

Sometimes you need to delay T-spin and perform a Z-spin first:

intai-z-spin-use-j-delayed-spin.gifintai-z-spin-use-l-delayed-spin.gif
Fig: Intai delayed T-spin following a Z-spin. Notice how the use J and use L solves are very similar. Both can be upgraded to TSD when P16 is O.

And sometimes you need to do the T-spin first instead:

Fig: Intai early T-spin for the same use L solve.

LSZ core solves often involve I-spins. Here's how to perform them:

intai-i-spin-j.gif
Fig: Intai I-spin sequence for J at the wall. Rotate twice in the same direction. Grey ▄█▄ shows piece orientation for clarity.

Sometimes this rare other core solve requires two consecutive Z-spins:

Dupe solves

These solves lead to Dupe 6th and can sometimes be built from 9p.

Only notable solves leading to decent Dupe 6ths listed.

IJS core Piece 15&16 = IZ Piece 15&16 = JL Piece 15&16 = LJ Piece 15&16 = LZ Piece 15&16 = ST

- - -
- -
LSZ core Piece 15&16 = IZ Piece 15&16 = JL Piece 15&16 = LJ Piece 15&16 = LZ Piece 15&16 = ST
-

Sometimes you will be able to get a solve using these from 9p when a solve going into non-dupe 6th isn't possible.

P8 = T, P15&P16 = JL/LJ solve has this easy to recognise skim:
